I AM GOIN TO KILL THE FUCKRY OUT THERE

Since it'd only be a matter of time before people find out what the original sample was i thought I'd show you

WHEN A PIG EATS A BROWNIE

Guilty Sipson over Harry Love beat

First beat playing is one of my instrumentals from a forthcoming project... but I might have to think about hitting up Guilty for a verse or 2... what do u think? Funny coinsidence that he mentioned Malice from the Clipse cos thats my co-dee. Bigup Guilty for a heavy album too, u can hear one of the Wajeed produced tracks in the music player to the right. I'm really feelin the Mr. Porter "Robbery" track too.

Funny shit

Junior Spesh

I know its old school and almost everyone in the world has seen it (well only 350,000 views in all which i thought would be higher but its hard to believe some people haven't). Anyway I'm just deciding to promote more views for these guys because i think they deserve it... its a classic, funny, well written, delivery's sick, beat's heavy, and it is blatantly the sort of thing you'd come up with if you were hungry, walking home from school and still had a little £1.50 in your pocket.
It's be ironic if they got rich off of a song about poor man food, and i'd be happy if they did turn this little classic piece of work into money.... so keep clicking and these kids might end up with that advertizing money so we can look forward to that wack corporate re-make of this video for KFC

Marvin Gaye interview

good interview, i'd never seed this one before and it must have been very close to the end of his life.
its also interesting because its almost as if the interviewer is speaking to his ghost now after his death, the tone in their voices, marvin's temperament and the kinda nature of the 1 word questions. its like marvins looked over his life and made his conclusions and his peace with everything. whatever it is, it has reminded me there are some really good documentaries about marvin i need to watch again its been a while so when i remember the actual names and find them online i will post them here. enjoy

My first trivial blog ... 50 cent interview

Right this is the day where i start actually blogging stuff other than my own crew's material, thats what blogging generally is to everyone else now and there's too many issues that need to be discussed nowadays. And also I've realized that all those videos that i favourite on youtube I should be posting on here (basically I've just learned 'how to blog').

So my first blog about the outside world has been inspired by 50 cent & angie martinez interview. Its not even that controversial but its very interesting to me.
I think 50 is such a joker and i admire the way he uses the whole world as a big fun game of chess. That's all it is to him, he's just testing out his theories that he could make just about anything happen as long as he's prepared to be ruthless and play the game right to the very end. This interview is so revealing about his strategies, mentality, attitude & intentions. I think he's pretty much the funniest character in hip hop (along side not on top of ODB, Snoop, Biz etc but i'm sayin) for being such a obnoxious menace, to be so successful despite the fact that he's always pissed everyone off then they secretly love him for it and maybe feel a little bit honored that he's even challenging them in the first place. People front on curtis but i think everyone would miss him if he wasnt around no more. He makes something entertaining out of that dull stream of generic mush you hear dribbling out everyone's radios and tvs.
And by the way yea if it was my mum that got stalked i might want to murder him BUT (a) i would always have the sense to know that challenging 50 head on is not a wise move and (b) it's obviously a joke because if anything nasty was really ever planned a smart person wouldn't film the victim and put them on youtube first' Its just supposed to be entertaining and evoke responses, and that it certainly does haha

This night was a pretty huge success, the third annual Dilla fundraiser at Cargo, London on Feb 15th 2009.
Over £3,500 raised for the Dilla Foundation & Lupus UK , venue was completely jammed and the dj lineup was even more chokka this year. I only recently found out that people have flown in from countries like Canada, Japan, Germany, around the world to be at this event!

This time we were minus a certain DJ (Mr Thing) as he was stuck in another country that evening.... poor dude was totally gutted so Thing if ur reading.... you might not want to see the photos.

More photos to come from my camera too!!!

New DJ MK Mixtape "Vol. 17 : London Go Hard" OUT NOW!!

Time to bigup my man my mello , the UK's mixtape King , Kiss fm's Hip Hop Show host and fellow Extended Player... d-d-d-d-DJ MK!
originally he gained a high status across the world as a mixtape dj, mixtape importer & distributor and authority on rare mixtapes. Now after roughly a 5 year hiatus DJ MK has finally made the decision to resume his classic mixtape series and true to form is totally up to date both with track list and mix technique, keeping the perfect balance between skills & selection. For those that may be familiar with any of the earlier editions in his mixtape series will know that DJ MK has always been about the hottest, rarest, newest and most exclusive hip hop... Back in the analog days of cassette & vinyl exclusive songs super rare promo only pressings, dubplates, exclusive freestyles ... and the trademark bigtime artist drops/jingles/idents (eg. real quote "this is big boom busta rhymes chillin with your man dj mk"). These days it would be hard to imagine anything staying exclusive or hot for longer than a week what with blogs, zshare, torrents & alike.... but he dun did it again. since his last volume, MK has smashed world tours with Roots Manuva, Dizzee Rascal & Extended Players, has had a top rating Hip Hop show on Kiss Fm since 2004 and launched his popular night Gullyver with A-Cyde.
The credentials stretch way back for MK, I grew up on his tapes and guest radio mixes back when i was gettin into dj'in as a young'n. Its exciting to know that it is possible to bring back a classic formula when updated in the right way!
this is a welcome return at a perfect time to educate the younger online crowd who may have not been fortunate to have experienced the original record shop culture & days of exchanging highly coveted cassettes.
this also makes the return so sweet because unlike all the previous volumes which were for sale and relatively tricky to track down for some.... this is available online to download FREE.

download, hit him up & comment,,, and in the meantime i'm gona stay hassling him to eventually post all the original volumes (1-16) along with some other classic mixes
